I slept through my bootcamp alarm AGAIN! Clearly there is something wrong here. I suspect my back is jacked up. This sort of thing usually happens when I have a nerve pinched somewhere in my back and that usually happens when my period is extraordinarily bloaty... which it was this time.

Need to make an appointment with the chiropractor!

Today's accomplishment:

Trip over metal 'box' used for box jumps at crossfit. Proceed to shin savagely dry-humping box's metal edge. Finish with bad knee testing concrete floor's density at speed. Rinse, but do not repeat.

OMG, my passport photo became awful! It wasn't too bad originally. I'll have to do a side-by-side study when I get home.

And they didn't return my expired passport with all my pretty visas even though I asked them to.

Sunday I went to Lawrence, Kansas to check out a tiny vintage motorcycle show. It is young show; perhaps two or three years now, but I was astounded by the number of vintage bikes. The Kansas City Heart of America (HoAme) Motorcycle Club does a big show with hundreds of bikes, but even at the big show last year they couldn't claim the variety this ( Read more... )

Gogol Bordello is sold out in Kansas City tonight. Well, Primus is headlining, but I believe most of the crowd will likely head out after Gogol. I couldn't get tickets to the show even before they sold. For one, the venue box office was always closed when I went by.
